Sorry, maybe I'm just traditional - but this book basically blames women for men cheating. My opinion changed about him after listening to some of this, I stopped less than halfway through. Would you ever listen to anything by Steve Harvey again? This book is extremely geared towards the African American community, which is great for that demographic - but not for me. This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more? Now with the help of this book I will use the tests set up to identify who is looking for love and who is looking for love "tonight".recommend to Men by a man if you want love and are not sure why you haven't fallen in love yet! on the otherside I have given time away on those looking for a quick hook up and wanted more after. I identified with both sides of the stories in this book, I gave my love to someone that always knew I was never the one and couldn't admit it to herself, or was simply just using me until my usefulness went away.
I would recommend this to all who have found and wasted time on someone (whom you've always known deep down) that was not really giving themselves to your relationship. the standards to hold others by and how to quickly identify what others are looking for was not exclusive to the male gender. some of the content was not for me and that was to be expected. At first I was thrown by the title but, after the first chapter the insight helped explain some of my own hang ups about why I hadn't found a good woman yet. Sometimes funny, often unflinchingly direct, but always truthful, Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man is a book you must listen to if you want to understand how men think when it comes to relationships, intimacy, and love.
